This 110M WP GT vessel is the top-of-the-range ultra high-speed luxury wave-piercing catamaran car ferry, built to maintain a speed of 60 knots in sea states of up to 4.5M. It is designed to carry passengers, vehicles, and containerised cargo on international and domestic routes of up to 500 nautical miles. The vessel features a second-generation wave piercing hull form and a state of the art ride control system ensuring maximum passenger comfort and safety.
Seating is available for 700 or more passengers (depending on your requirements) over two spacious decks. The upper deck can be configured with a first class cabin for 220 plus passengers, and a VIP lounge for a further 100 passengers if required. Both cabins feature well appointed bars and ultra luxurious lounge style seating, and, additionally, retail outlets, a business centre and a children's play area can all easily be incorporated in the design.
The vehicle deck can accommodate 100 cars, or a mixed load of 70 cars and 8 tourist coaches.
The vessel is designed to operate on a lightweight, high output, propulsion package of four marine gas turbines. All shipboard systems are fully controlled and monitored from the vessels raised wheelhouse, whose aircraft cockpit style layout provides excellent 360degree vision of the sea surface. The vessel is equipped with an automatic docking system and state of the art electronic surveillance and navigation equipment.
