Afai's 32M catamaran is a very cost effective vessel for routes such as those involving the transportation of day passengers for sightseeing. It is a high-speed passenger vessel designed for simplicity of construction and operation, and featuring an energy efficient sea friendly hull form, with a top speed of up to 30 knots.
Its 32M length allows for seating of up to 278 passengers on two passenger decks. Seating can be arranged around tables if required, and extra external seating can also be provided on the upperdeck and upperdeck roof. A fully equipped kiosk can be provided with cool room and souvenir facilities. Passenger boarding is achieved via shore-based ramps feeding directly onto the main passenger deck.
The aircraft style wheelhouse, with wing control stations, provides excellent vision of the sea surface and convenience in manoeuvring operations whilst in port.
